Retlaw Dunn - Pre-Med Affairs

Retlaw Dunn

Hey everyone! My name is Retlaw Dunn and I have the honor of serving as your Co-Director of Premedical Affairs for this 2022-2023 academic school year under AMSA. My first semester participating in this organization was during the Fall of 2021. What drew me to the organization was the hope that I would be with like-minded individuals, all of whom would exemplify the drive that I also have for medicine. However, what I found was a genuine atmosphere that yes, included like-minded people, but more importantly, included individuals who wanted to make a difference while they had the opportunity to do so. As far as my collegiate achievements I have graduated with a dual degree in Biological Sciences and Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Psychology from FAU. Im currently taking courses as a non-degree seeking student here to finish my premedical requirements and will be going to EMT school in the near future. I spend my free time playing basketball, weightlifting, socializing, and in the SLC. So If you ever need any help with Organic Chemistry or Biological Bases of Behavior I’d be more than willing to assist. As far as medicine goes, I’m sure my interests will change the more I’m exposed to different specialties, so my focus currently is just to get in the door so to speak. I’m thrilled for the entire organization getting back to full in-person meetings and activities and I look forward to being even a minuscule part of your premedical journey. Let’s get to it!
